Why Cats are Better Pets than Dogs Despite Their Arrogance

Cats are quiet and don't bark incessantly and they are a lot cleaner than dogs. They can be aloof but this is largely because they are misunderstood.

Cats are more intelligent than usually assumed and while they cannot be trained to do things like dogs maybe that reflects an independence that we praise in our fellow human beings.

Another excellent point is that cats are happy and content to be cats, while dogs want to be human and imitate humans. Nobody likes those who are 'sucking up' all the time.

If we understood the nature of the superior air and graces of cats perhaps we could learn to like them better.

Perchance people who like cats are fundamentally different from people who like dogs, perhaps intellectually superior - 'Like Likes Like' after all. So what does that say about You?

Even after understanding cats better, would I now get a cat?

No Way! Far too arrogant and aloof for me!
